One of the things that fascinates me about Dark Mori Girl/Black Forest Mori is that it’s a style that that’s been floating around in Goth fashion for decades. Black Forest Mori just narrowed the focus a bit more.
Again, I still think Dark Mori/Black Forest Mori is the younger, gentler sister of Nightmarepunk.
(Good grief, the list of substyles I want to dabble in or add touches of to my personal style is growing.)

But hey, at least the days of poet shirts and full on crushed velvet outfits seem to be behind us, right? Silver linings and all that.
This is where I point out that I still look for poet shirts to wear with my velvet waistcoats, and that I was idly looking at one of my crushed velvet dresses just the other day. Goth is what you make it, peeps.
